E-marketing with emails, newsletters, landing pages and Google Ads campaigns etc….
As businesses have increasingly moved into the digital world, marketing strategies have also evolved to adapt to this change. In the world of B2B marketing, electronic marketing (e-marketing) has become an important tool to reach target audiences and increase sales. This article explores the key elements of e-marketing for the B2B sector, including its benefits, strategies and best practices.
What is e-marketing?
E-marketing is the use of digital channels to promote a product or service to potential customers. This includes methods such as email marketing, social media marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), content marketing and more. The goal of e-marketing is to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the website, generate leads and ultimately increase sales.
Benefits of e-marketing for B2B companies
E-marketing offers B2B companies a number of benefits that traditional marketing methods cannot. Here are some of the key benefits:
Cost-effective
E-marketing is generally cheaper than traditional marketing methods. For example, email marketing is much cheaper than direct mail, and social media advertising is generally cheaper than print or television advertising.
Increased reach
With e-marketing, B2B companies can reach a much larger audience than with traditional methods. This is because digital channels have a global reach and the internet is accessible to almost everyone.
Targeted marketing
With e-marketing, B2B companies can target their marketing efforts to specific audiences. This means they can tailor their messages to the needs and interests of their target customers, resulting in higher conversion rates.
Measurable results
E-marketing delivers measurable results, making it easier for B2B companies to track their ROI. With tools like Google Analytics, companies can track website traffic, engagement and conversion rates to see how well their marketing efforts are working.
E-marketing strategies for B2B companies
Email marketing
Email marketing is one of the most effective e-marketing strategies for B2B companies. It involves sending targeted emails to a list of subscribers who have opted in to receive communications from the company. Email marketing can be used to promote new products, offer discounts, inform about industry news and much more.
To be successful with email marketing, B2B companies should focus on creating personalised, relevant and engaging content that resonates with their target audience. They should also optimise their emails for mobile devices and use automation tools to streamline the process.
Content marketing
Content marketing is about creating and distributing valuable content that appeals to a specific audience and piques their interest. This can include blog posts, videos, webinars, eBooks and more. By providing useful information to their target customers, B2B companies can build trust and credibility, which can ultimately lead to more sales.
To be successful with content marketing, B2B companies should focus on creating high-quality, informative content that is optimised for search engines. They should also distribute their content through social media, email marketing and other channels.
Social media marketing
Social media marketing involves using social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to promote a company’s products and services. Social media can be a powerful tool for B2B companies as it allows them to reach a large audience and engage with potential customers in a more casual way.
To be successful with social media marketing, B2B companies should focus on creating content that is relevant, interesting and engaging. They should also use social media analytics tools to track their performance and adjust their actions.

E-Marketing: Email Marketing for Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems
With a combination of different e-mails – started after an enquiry from a prospective customer (“Request a quote” function) – an automated e-mail dispatch is started for product information and sales support.
Example: PythonX steel beam plasma cutting system.
Six product and price information emails are sent automatically and time-controlled in response to a customer enquiry via the “Request Enquiry” button on the Lincoln Electric website. The customer can, of course, stop further mailings at any time by using an “opt-out” procedure in accordance with the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO).
For the sales department, serious prospects for the product quickly crystallise, product information is available and the personal first contact by the sales department is optimally prepared.

E-Marketing: Email Newsletter and Landing Pages for Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems
A newsletter in electronic form is a cost-effective way to pass on information to your target group in a dosed and targeted manner. Well-considered contents of a newsletter with an “added value” for the customer (e.g. technically relevant topics) and a balance between information and advertising will also be read. A newsletter can also be used to announce a promotion for a specific sales transaction.
For Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems, for example, we used this successfully with a landing page for a BLACK FRIDAY promotion. Another advantage is the “collection” of relevant email addresses for further targeted addressing of the professional target group.

E-Marketing: GOOGLE ads to unerringly increase brand awareness via the website for Lincoln Electric Cutting Systems.
Google advertising is a powerful tool to increase brand awareness in the most effective way. We have used Google ads not only for automated product information, but also to promote sales campaigns – such as BLACK FRIDAY offers – with lasting success.
There is also a simple calculation for controlling: What would a sales representative cost per month who makes “cold calls” 40 hours a week and how successful would he be? And how much would an employee cost per month who does this job 365 days a week/24 hours a day, like Google? Our experience clearly shows that Google is far more effective and cost-efficient! We would be happy to present projects of this kind to you.
By the way, these Google campaigns are managed and developed by us for Lincoln Electric throughout Europe.
